LawRight contributes to Wages Theft and Toll Roads inquiries

Our teams recently contributed submissions to two Queensland parliamentary inquiries. The Federal Court Self Representation Service team made submissions to the Inquiry into Wages Theft, pointing out the barriers clients face in seeking remedies for unpaid wages.
The Homeless Persons' Legal Clinic made written and oral submissions to the Inquiry into Toll Roads.
By presenting the experiences of our clients to lawmakers, we contribute to the creation of better policies and reduce disadvantage created when vulnerable people are disproportionately affected by unfair laws.

Both submissions are available here.
