Barristers have provided a variety of assistance to LawRight over the past 15 years. This publication highlights some of the work performed by our volunteer barristers whose contributions help support both our services and clients.

15 Years of Volunteer Pro Bono in Queensland

LawRight and its clients receives invaluable assistance from all of its volunteers who have given their time for the benefit of disadvantaged and vulnerable Queenslanders.

15 Years Pro Bono

The Queensland legal profession has always provided pro bono assistance to our communities. Since LawRight (formerly QPILCH) was founded in 2001, the profession has made a concerted contribution to helping people who are the most vulnerable in our State. Recognising this achievement, LawRight (formerly QPILCH) has published a report celebrating the legal profession’s commitment to structured pro bono.

Impact Report

LawRight (formerly QPILCH) has published its first report assessing the impact of its work for clients. The report shows that our work makes a difference in the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders and is appreciated by them irrespective of the outcome they receive.

Annual Report 2015 - 2016

2015 - 2016 was another full year with a 75% increase in new files over 2014-15, providing access to justice to the most vulnerable in our community. Thank you to all our members, supporters and partners whose contributions made it possible.
