Property Law Clinic

The Clinic offers appointments from Monday 7 February 2022 and fortnightly from that date. To make an appointment, please call us on (07) 3187 4375. We will also ask you to complete our intake form.

The LawRight Property Law Clinic is an evening advice clinic delivered in partnership with Bond University. It provides information and basic legal advice to clients in the following areas of property law:

  • Property disputes
  • Elder financial abuse (or disputes between older people and family members about property)
  • Commercial and retail leases
  • Strata title / body corporate
  • Residential tenancies
  • Dividing fences
  • Neighbourhood trees

Please note: The LawRight Property Law Clinic does not have the capacity to formally represent clients in legal disputes or advise about ongoing court proceedings. We also do not provide advice on any complex legal issues.

Volunteer lawyers

This clinic is supported by volunteer lawyers and law students. If you are a lawyer with expertise in property law and would like to volunteer, please complete this form.

Bond University coordinates the selection of students for this volunteer project and does an intake each trimester. If you’re interested in volunteering, please check for when clinic positions are next advertised by the University.
