Duties include: maintain Service processes, databases and resources; support Service staff and volunteer lawyers/barristers;manage client intake; undertake case assessment; contribute to research and policy development; and participate in the generalactivities of LawRight.

Senior law student; understanding of issues relating to self-representation and related disadvantage, or ability to quickly acquire it desirable; strong organizational and communication skills essential

Location: Brisbane

Classification: Level 2, Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award

Benefits: Leave loading and five weeks annual leave pro rata plus 10% superannuation. Eligibility to salary sacrifice up to $35,000 (grossed up) of income to personal and entertainment expenses.Term: Contract until 23 December 2022. If you are applying for the 2 day/week roll to support the Enforcement Hearing Duty Lawyer Service, you must be available on Wednesdays.
